PEOPLE Fest Tour is comprised of groups of musicians, band managers, Local leaders, concert promoters and fans, and is quickly blossoming into a statewide network that sends teams out on the road to proclaim the Gospel and set the buzz for PEOPLE Fest happening September 6& 7 at Martinez Waterfront Park.
The People Festival Tour is bringing a “People matter to God and each other” theme to over 35 major cities. It is also generating thousands of e-mails directly from artists to their fans, reminding people to share in spreading the good news that Jesus loves all people and seeks a personal relationship with individuals. PEOPLE Fest 08 Tour will help bring local & national acts together.
PEOPLE Fest 08 Tour presents emerging musicians nationwide with the chance to perform at one of our bay area locations during our April-December 2008 Tour. All Christian bands and solo artists are invited to enter and all music genres accepted. It’s free to apply! Artists may simply submit their tour application on the www.peoplefestival.org/PeopleFestTour Based on PEOPLE Fest 08 schedule, 30 bands will be selected to perform in 35 Contra Costa County and regional tour stops throughout the bay area beginning this April. At each stop, three to five bands will take the stage to perform live.
PEOPLE Fest tour is looking for young concert goers at California’s largest live Christian music events. The activity will include fielding 50 or more regional People Festival registration teams while also sending Street Teams on the road with up to 30 bands to spread the Message “People Matter to God and to Each other” and register community volunteers.
This will be supported by an aggressive multi-media strategy and artist-based communications that will profoundly touch thousands of young people.Meanwhile, thousands of young people will gain first-hand community evangelism organizing experience as volunteers, fulfilling another one of People Festival’s core objectives - "training the local witness." To inspire young people to engage in ministries that focus on social-responsibility strategy and community- outreach programs at a grass root level.
All genres are welcome as long as you are a Christian band/musician with positive and uplifting music that does not have curse words.
